Fascinating article. Please note that in the center, photos of the Azerbaijan plates are missing and instead there is a duplicate set of the Argentina/Paraguay/ DR group.

t’s really interesting to read how plates are connected with historical and political changes. Never thought about that! Thanks for the interesting article!

Hey thanks for the collection of license plates, including the photos. Although I’ve saved some of my old plates, I never thought of foreign plates being a collector’s hobby.

I, too, like old signage and I found an artist (years ago) who sliced up old metal road signs and made life-size farm animal sculptures for lawn novelties. I have a few chickens, a rabbit and a big tortoise. I found these at art shows in Southern California.

Later, when I had moved to Washington state, I found a family of live-sized goats ( also found at an art show ). People walking past us, carrying the mama and two baby goats (thru the parking lot) were offering me 3X the purchase price for my metal sculpture goat family. *wink* But I won’t sell them. I laugh at them whenever I’m in my backyard.

In this article tonight I read two words I’ve never seen together >> crushed mercedes <<
