That's a great proposal! However, Israel should not be asked to endorse Trump's plan (what Trump offered the Palestinians is a Bantustan). A new Saudi initiative should be asked to endorse the Clinton/Olmert/Kerry parameters (which are not so different from the Arab Peace Initiative). In the winter of 2014, for a couple of weeks, Netanyahu was willing to negotiate peace on the basis of Kerry's framework, but Abbas got cold feet (he refused to respond to Obama, signed a national unity agreement with Hamas), and Netanyahu used this opportunity to leave the table of negotiations.
"Everybody has a plan...then you get hit in the face" Mike Tyson. You know better than most how things have changed since Trump and my view is that a separate PA outside the wall cannot survive: no resources, no outlet. I wish you would use your audience to advocate for merging the PA back into Jordan with a seaport for the new entity south of Ashdod and this connecting by rail or road to PA/Jordan territory.
Time for a new Saudi peace initiative?
